This Cookie Policy explains how The Prompt Den (the “Service”), operated by Corsac Vantage LLC, uses cookies and similar technologies. For broader context on how we handle your information, see our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser when you visit a website. Cookies and similar technologies (such as localStorage and session tokens) let a service remember you between visits, keep you signed in, and store preferences. They can be “session” cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent” cookies (stored for a defined period).
2. The cookies we use
We keep our cookie use minimal. We currently use:
a. Strictly necessary
Required for the Service to function. You cannot opt out and still use the Service.
- Supabase auth tokens (stored as cookies and in localStorage): keep you signed in and identify your session.
- CSRF token: protects form submissions from cross-site request forgery.
- Tier and preference cache: a small client-side cache so the UI loads without flicker (your tier, voice profile, recent prompts).
b. Functional
Improve your experience but the Service still works without them.
- UI preferences (e.g., sidebar collapsed state, last-selected category): remember small choices so you don't reset them each visit.
c. Analytics (limited)
We collect basic aggregate usage data — which features are used, which prompts are most viewed, AI token consumption — to operate the Service, plan capacity, and improve the product. This data is tied to your account in our database (not via third-party tracking cookies). We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or other third-party tracking pixels.
d. Third-party (sign-in only)
When you sign in with Google, Google may set cookies on its own domains to manage the OAuth flow. Those are governed by Google's Cookies & similar technologies policy.
3. We do not use advertising cookies
The Prompt Den does not sell advertising space and does not embed third-party ad networks or cross-site tracking pixels.
4. How to control cookies
- Your browser settings: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in.
- Clear local data: signing out and clearing site data in your browser removes the Service's stored tokens and preferences.
- Do Not Track: we honor industry-standard signals where technically feasible. Because we do not run third-party tracking, DNT has limited impact on our Service.
5. Changes to this Policy
If we change how we use cookies, we will update this page and bump the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be notified by email or in-product notice.
